Social Welfare (open deadline)
Applications for fellowships from
the Draper Richards Foundation are available.
The foundation annually awards four
fellowships of $300,000 over 3 years to help entrepreneurs start
nonprofit organizations.
Focus may include any of the
following: the arts, community and economic development, education, the
environment, health, youth and families, or another area.
Who may apply: individuals or teams
that are beginning to develop an organization. Organizations must be
based in the US.
Support will not be provided
to local, community-based organizations; they must be national or global
in scope.

Medical Research (March 14)
Applications are availabe for grants
from the Fight Back, Move Forward Large Grants Program, admininstered by
the National Parkinson Foundation.
Grants of up to $450,000 over
three years will be given to support research on Parkinson’s
disease.
Who may apply: individuals or teams
of researchers, NOT instutions or organizations are eligible to
apply.
